I never thought I’d see the day that I would be spending less on car insurance then I was in the 80′s. You know the rate of inflation and everything makes me feel that I’ll never get low rates on that sort of thing again. I was wrong though. I found high quality cheap car insurance in Florida that is less then I was paying back in 1985. The way I did it was by being a safe driver and calling each of the 5 major insurance companies, Geico, State Farm, Prudential, All State and Nationwide. I showed them my great driving history and they all wanted to give me safe driver discounts. I couldn’t believe it. I basically cut my monthly payments in half. You really can’t ask for something better then that. I think I was paying just over $100 a month and now I am down to around $60 a month.
